HEAD-TO-TOE CARE

What we treat.

Your appointment starts with understanding what has changed for you and exploring what you would like to regain or achieve.

WHAT WE TREAT

Common conditions we treat.

These are some of the concerns people bring to us. We assess your symptoms first and explain whether osteopathic care is appropriate or whether you need another type of assessment.

For disc-related symptoms, headaches and pregnancy-related concerns, the cause and the right next step can vary. We’ll discuss this with you rather than assume treatment is suitable.

Common paediatric concerns

Any paediatric concerns can be discussed with Emily over the phone, on WhatsApp or via email. Please do not hesitate to get in touch.

CARE FOR EVERY STAGE

Who osteopaths help.

Everyone comes to us with their own goals, concerns, and circumstances. We take the time to understand your individual needs and tailor our assessment, advice, and treatment to support what matters most to you.

Babies & children

Emily provides gentle, age-appropriate osteopathic care for babies and children with musculoskeletal concerns. Treatment may include cranial-sacral osteopathic techniques where appropriate, alongside practical advice on positioning, movement, and development. If there are additional concerns, such as feeding or settling difficulties, these can be discussed and guidance towards further support can be provided where needed.

Expectant & new parents

Individualised care and advice for comfort, movement and the physical demands of daily life during pregnancy and after birth, including a gradual return to work and activity.

Busy professionals

Desk-related aches, muscle tension and travel stiffness, with practical movement and exercise advice that fits a busy day.

Athletes & fitness enthusiasts

From a first 5K to regular training, we can assess aches and injuries and discuss rehabilitation, training load and a gradual return to activity.

Older adults

Assessment of joint and muscle concerns, with movement, strength and balance advice to support confidence in everyday activity.

Manual & physical jobs

For lifting, carrying and repetitive work, we can assess aches and strains and discuss pacing and exercise that fit your routine.

People with chronic or complex pain

Time to talk through a longer-standing concern, set realistic goals, review progress and agree a step-by-step plan, including referral when another service would help.

Anyone seeking prevention

Advice on movement, strength and manageable habits to support an active life and help you understand potential flare-ups.

HANDS-ON CARE

Treatments we offer.

We choose techniques around your assessment, goals and preferences. We’ll explain what we recommend and ask for your consent before treatment.

Hands-on osteopathy

A combination of soft-tissue work, joint mobilisation and stretching, tailored to the person in front of us.

Acupuncture

Fine needles used as part of your individual treatment plan, where appropriate. We’ll explain the approach before you decide.

Cupping therapy

Cups placed on the skin to apply suction during soft-tissue treatment. We’ll discuss how it feels and any temporary marks it may leave.

Cranial-sacral osteopathy

A gentle hands-on approach that Emily may incorporate where appropriate, including in care for babies and children.

Sports / deep tissue massage

Focused soft-tissue massage, with the pressure and areas treated adapted to your needs and comfort.

Spinal adjustments / joint manipulation

A precise movement applied to a joint where appropriate. Sometimes called “cracking”, it may produce a clicking sound. We’ll discuss suitability and alternatives with you first.

Ongoing exercise rehabilitation & advice

We provide personalised exercises and practical advice to support long-term recovery and health. Your plan is shaped around your goals and routine, with progress reviewed and exercises adapted as your needs change.
